Celebration of Vaisakhi & Dastar Bandi Competition
13th April 2016

 

Vaisakhi festival was celebrated in the premises of G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Surrounding was filled with the name of Guru ji by reciting the Shabad “Tere Amrit Di Ik Boond Koi.” The kavishri was performed by the students of V&VI std. The main attraction of the function was Dastar Bandi competition. Boys were very excited to participate so they were divided into groups. Experts were there to choose the winner of competition.

All the winners were awarded with the certificates. At the end our principal sir addressed the students and told them the importance of Vaisakhi festival. Sir also thanked the guest for their presence and honoured them. It was really an enjoyable day.  

Celebration of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji
13th Jan. 2016

Guruparv of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy with the great enthusiasm. After the Ardass, the Nagar Kirtan was started from the G.H.G. Academy. First there was a Nagara and then students were playing the Gatka. Panj Piyaras and nishandehi were also made.They were in front of Palki Sahib. It covered the whole Jagraon city.

Celebration of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Harrai Ji
1st Feb. 2016

Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Harrai Ji was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. On this occasion, Puneet Kaur of Class 5th A delivered the speech. She told that Guru Ji always boosted the military spirit of the sikhs but never indulged in any political or armed war with the Mughal Empire. Principal Sir also asked some questions related to the Guru ji from the students and told about the contribution of Guru Ji to Sikh religion.

Celebration of Grandparent’s Day
20th Feb. 2016

Grandparents day was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of our respected Principal Sir and Management. Grandparents of Nursery to 2nd class were invited in that fabulous function. The function was started with the Ardass by junior students. There were many competitions were performed by the students. There were many games organized for the grandparents also.

Celebration of Holi
19th Mar. 2016

Holi was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management.

On this occasion, Agamgeet Kaur of Class 9th A delivered the speech. She told that Why it is called the festival of Colors.She gave enlightenment the life of Bhagat Prahlad Ji and also told about the victory of truth.

Maha Shivratri
26th Feb. 2016
Maha Shivratri was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy. On this occassion, Ishpreet Kaur of Class -8th D delivered a speech. She also told about the contribution of Lord Shiva to Hindu Religion. Principal Sir addressed the students about the teachings of Lord Shiva.
Inauguration of Sports ground for the Juniors
26th Mar. 2016

Inauguration of sports ground for the Little Kids (juniors) was done on 26March, 2016 in G.H.G. Academy. First of all the Ardass was done. The inauguration was done by the Director Mr. Baljeet Singh Malhi. There were many courts for the different games like basketball, badminton, hockey, football etc. The walls of the ground were also decorated with the different posters Animal, Birds and Symbol of Nation & Religion. Respected Principal Sir also gave the knowledge about the ground and encouraged the teachers to motivate the students for the sports. All the staff members and the students were also present there.

Ram Navmi Celebration
12th April 2016

Ram Navmi was celebrated in the school campus on 12th April 2016 under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Parkash Purav of Guru Arjun Dev Ji
1st May 2016

Parkash Purav pf Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji and Labour Day was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Jasmeen Kaur Sidhu of VII-C delivered a speech on parkash purav of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji and Anureet Kaur Sangha of VIII-A delivered a speech on Labour Day. At the end our Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma shared his precious views regarding Labour Day and Parkash Divas Divas of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji.  He told about the life history of “Shaheeda De Sartaj” Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji and how the guru ji scarified for religion and Sikhism and encourages the students to adopt the teaching of Guru Arjun Dev Ji. At last Principal Sir cogneates to all on this occasion.

Shodhya News Reading Competition
10th May 2016

News Reading competition was held on 10th May 2016 in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Seventeen School participated in this competition. This is organized into three categories English, Hindi & Punjabi. The Program was started with shabad.

                      After that Ardaas was done. Judges for English Language were Ret. Lect. Mrs. Usha Jain Ji and Mrs. Annie Bajaj, Director of Bajaj College, Mullapur. Judges for Punjabi Language were famous poet Mr. Amrik Singh Talwandi and Mrs. Satinderpal Kaur Sehi from G.H.G. Academy. Judges for Hindi Language were Ret. Teacher Mrs. Chander Prabha Ji and Mrs. Jaspal Kaur from G.H.G. Academy. In this competition three department was divided into two groups. In first group class V to VIII, Second group class IX to XII two-two students were participated in each department. Result of this activity was:-

Budha Purnima
21st May 2016

Buddha Purnima was celebrated in the campus under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Principal Sir addressed the students and enlightened the students by telling them about the life of Mahatama Buddha ji. He said that every religion teaches us to follow the path of truth. So we should give respect to all religion.  

Fun Day
26th May 2016

On 26th May 2016, Fun Day was organized in the premises of G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. The day was started with the Ardaas. The school was turned into as amusement park. All the swings, water park and many other other sides were in the school ground.  After that all students went for rides and to enjoy in the water park. Students enjoyed different rides and water games. All were very happy and excited. Teachers also joined the students and enjoyed a lot. Full discipline and safety of students was the main concern. It was a great and memorable day.

Summer Camp (28th May 2016 to 4th June 2016)
28th May 2016 to 4th June 2016

Summer Camp was organized in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Principal  Sir. It was held on 28th May 2016 to 4th June 2016. The students were divided into six groups as per their classes. There were different classes like Yoga classes, Marshal Arts, Art classes, Dance classes, Bhangra and Sports. First of all, all students and teachers used to attend the Yoga class then they went to different classes. In summer learnt so many things and enjoyed it very much. Art classes were very enjoyable. Students learnt to make things from waste material. In this way, In summer camp students learnt many skills and developed their personality, it was very interesting, educational and enjoyable camp.

                On 04th June 2016, there was a closing ceremony of summer camp. All the students performed their activities which they have learnt into summer camp. These were very enjoyable. At the end , Principal Sir addressed the students and praised their performance and guided them to carry these activities in future.

Celebration of "EID"
7th July 2016

Eid was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Shaganpreet Kaur of Class X-A delivered a speech on Eid. At the end our principal addressed the students told that all the religions are equal, we should respect each and everyone.

Speech Competition
9th July 2016

Speech competition was held in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of our Principal. On 9th July 2016 speech competition was held class wise. It was compulsory for all the students. Topic for speech was “Needs of Indian Student” timing for each student was three min. The best performer was selected from each class. On 14th July 2016 Interclass speech competition was held. One selected student from each class was participated in this competition. Students were divided into two groups. First group is 5th to 8th class and second group is 9th to 12th class. Judges for first group were Mr. Lakhvir Singh, Miss. Priya, Miss. Minakshi and for second group Mrs. Hardeep Kaur, Mrs. Rajinder Kaur, Miss. Amandeep Kaur Sandhu. Student from each class spoke very well competition was too hard.

                                Then the result of both groups was declared. Harwinder Kaur (V-B), Prinazgeet Kaur (VII-B) and Navneet Kaur (VIII-B) was the best performer from their respective classes. In second group Jaskiran Kaur (X-B) and Ramanpreet Kaur (XI- Med.-2), Arshpreet Kaur (X-A) got Third position. Then Principal Sir addressed the students and told the importance of this type of competition in the school and also cognates the winners and gave them certificates. All enjoyed this activity very much.

TEEJ CELEBRATION
19-08-2016

Teej festival was celebrated in the school campus with great enthusiasm.  As this festival is mainly connected with female so only girl students & female staff were there.  Chief Guest on this occasion were Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Malhi. In the presence of chief guests function began with bhangra performance, Some dance performances & competition for miss Teej was there. Girls of +2 participated in it & by crossing introduction round, dance round, questioner round Harmandeep Kaur Kailey of +2 was crowned as MISS TEEJ. 1st runner up was Gurleen Kaur of +2 (Commerce). 2nd runner up was Karamjeet Kaur of +2(Medical). At the end all enjoyed delicious eatables. Everyone had great time &enjoyed a lot.

First Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Granth sahib ji was celebrated in school campus on 2nd Sep.2016. religious activities began with Bhog Ceremony of Sehaj path by the students of 8th 9th & 10th  std.  On this occasion students of 7th std. recited a shabad & kavshari was performed by the students of 6th std. Speech was delivered by Jasmanpreet Kaur of 10th std. Principal Mr. Deep Kumar ji told the students about the foundation of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji & about the Sikh history. School Manager Mr. Darshan Singh ji gave warm wishes to all. At last Ardass was done & Prasad was given to everyoney.

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
05-09-2016

Teacher's Day was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy on 5th September 2016, under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. Whole function was organised by the students. First of all the students of 10+2 class welcomed the teachers with wam affection and respect. The main attraction of the function eas the enterance of the teachers in hall. That was really wonderful because all the students were clapping. When the teachers entering the hall. After that, the student anchor gave a welcome speech. Then all the teachers and student teachers come on the stage one by one and trophies were given to the teachers by student teachers, side by side positive compliments were there. Than game session was started. Teachers were divided into different groups and very attractive names were given to them like Nagin Dance, Bhojpuri Dance and Advertisement of different things like Jandhu Bam and Ich-Guard, Colgate, Vegetable seller, I Phone and White Washing of Utensils etc. These were very interesting and enjoyable games.

Refreshment was given to all the teachers were looking very smart. At the end Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Ji addressed and told about the importance of teacher's day. Sir gave many precious tips to the teachers and also told to the students about the importance of teachers in their life. He also congratulated all the teachers. All were very happy. It was really a fantastic day.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION
8-10-2016

Dussehra was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Pincipal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Managment. On this occasion Shaganpreet Kaur of VIII-A class delivered a speech on Dussehra. Through her speech, she enlighted the students about the importance of Dussehra. She told that the festival of Dussehra is also known as vijaydashmi. She also told why dussehra is celebrated by explaining the like history of Shri Rama Ji. It is a symbol of vicory over evil. At last, Principal Si also addressed the students and gave message that good always triumples over evil and inspired the students to follow that path of goodness and honesty.

VALMIKI JAYANTI CELEBRATION
15-10-2016

Valmik Jayanti is celebrated in the G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of respected Principal Sir and Management. On this occassion, Anureet Kaur Sangha of VIII-A class gave a speech. She gave enlightment on the like of Maharishi Valmik. She told that he became a great poet and he had accomplished the great epic Ramayan. Maharishi Valmik devoted his whole life in the service of people so we have to adopt his teachings. She also said that Maharishi Valmik's teachings will always inspired us. So we have to adopt the path shown by Maharishi Valmik Ji. In North India, this day is also called the 'Pargat Diwas'. Respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma also addressed the students and guide them to adopt the path of Valmik Ji and congrates to all on this great day.

ANNUAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION
29-10-2016

To fulfill the colours in like of G.H.Gians 'Science Tech' was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy on 29th October 2016 under the guidance of respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. Function was started at 9:30 a.m. with the Ardaas. After that lamp lighting was there. After that Bouquets and Badges ceremony was held respected Principal Sir, Co-ordinator Mrs. Indu Bala and Manager Mr. Dashan Singh presented the Bouquets and Badges to the guest. The chief guest of the function was Mr. Gursimran Singh Dhillon (SDM) Jagraon and Respected Mr. Dalbara Singh, Mrs. Harpal Kaur. In Science exhibition each class made a different project. Some poject were still and some were working. The main attraction was that the projects were prepared by waste material. Main attraction of exhinition was specially Punjabi Virsa, Five Symbols, India Gate and Phases of Moon etc. Explanation of project was done by students in vey well manner.

Our chief guest praised the function very much. He also encouraged the students to participate in these type of activities. He also prayed for more success of G.H.G. Academy. After that Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Mr. Darshan Singh honoured the chief guest with a trophy. Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma also addressed and welcome the cheif guest and other guest and also highlighted the achivements of the school. Refreshment was given to the parents. There was Tea and Pakoras. The whole programme went on soothing in a Disciplaned Manner. All the students and teachers performed their duties in very well manner. Lunch was provided to the teachers. Overall function was very good. All the students, Teachers and Parents learnt so many Knowledgable things and enjoyed it alot. 

DIWALI CELEBRATION
27-10-2016

Keeping the festive spirit alive, Diwali was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management on 8th October 2016 class wise Bulletin Board Decoration was held. Topics for the same were dussehra and diwali. All the students participated with great enthsiam. First, Second and Third Position were selected floor wise and house wise. On 27th October 2016, Diwali was celebrated in the morning, Rangoli was made on the stage and deccrated with Diyas. Respected Principal Sir, Manager Sir and Co-ordinator Madam enlightened diyas. Then he addresed the students and inspired the students to follow the path of truth. Sir, also inspired the students to follow the teachings of Shri Ram Ji and Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. At last Sir congrates to all for this occassion. Then the student of Manvir Kaur Class VIII-C delivered a speech on Bandi Shor Diwas. She told about the importance of Diwali in Sikh History. She throw light on the life of Shi Guru Hagobind Sahib Ji. Then Shaganpreet Kaur X-A delivered a speech on Diwali. She told the importance of Diwali in Hindu Religion. She described the life of Shri Ram Ji and also told that how Rama Ji exiled for 14 years and returned after defeating Ravana and when they come back Ajodhya after 14 years, people celebated that day with diyas, so Hindu people started celebate Diwali from that day. In this way, Diwali was celebrated with full anthusiam in G.H.G. Academy and all enjoyed alot on that day.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION
14-11-2016

Children Day was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. Then the student Arshpeet Kaur of X-A delivered a speech on 'Children Day'. She told that Children Day is also known as 'Bal Diwas' and is celebrated on 14th November  every year on the birthday of Jawarhar Lal Nehru Ji, the first Prime Minister of India. Then she told that Nehruji was fond of children and saw them as buds in a garden. He believed that that children are the future of the nation and should be treat with complete care affection and love. Then our Principal Sir also addressed the students. At the end ladoos were given to the students.    

CELEBRATION OF GURUPURAV OF SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI
12-11-2016

Gurupurav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy on 12th November 2016 with great enthusiam under the guidance of Respected Principal and Management. First of all, Bhog of Sehaj Path was performed under the guidance of teachers Mr. Harbhajan Singh and Mrs. Daljeet Kaur students performed different activities like religious songs, poems and kaweeshri. Then speech was delivered by Manavjit Kaur of class X-A. Shabad was recited by IV class students.

Then Kaweeshri was also performed by the students. After Anand Sahib, Ardaas was done. On this occassion our director Mr. Baljeet Singh Malhi also gave their immence presence. Then Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma addressed and congrates to all on this occassion. At the end, langer was served to al. All the teahcers and students served with great entusiam. In this way, the great day was celebrated in G.H.G Academy with great enthusiam.
SHAHEEDI DIWAS OF SHRI GURU TEJ BAHADUR JI
03-12-2016

Sahaeedi Diwas of Shri Guru Tej Bahadur Ji was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy on 3rd December 2016 under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. On this occassion speech was delivered by Ekam Grewal of VI-A class. Through her speech she explained the life of Guru Tej Bahadur Ji and gave enlightement on the sacrifice of Guru Ji. Then shabad was recited by studens of VI-A class.

Then Kaweeshri was performed by students of VI-D class. On this occassion, our Principal Sir also addressed the students and told about the life and sacrifice of Guru Ji. 

SHAHEEDI DIWAS OF FOUR SAHIBZAADE
24-12-2016

Shaheedi Diwas of Sahibzaada Ajit Singh Ji and Sahibzaada Jujhar Singh and Sahibzaada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzaada Fateh Singh Ji was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. On this occassion, Gurleen Kaur of Class VI-B deleivered a speech on Shaheedi Diwas of Chaar Sahibzaade. She told about the great sacrific of Sahibzaadas. She also told about the wars fought by Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Their sons Sahibzaada Ajit Singh Ji and Sahibazaada Jujhar Singh Ji. She also told that how chhote Sahibzaade debate with Nawab Wagir Khan of Sirhind with great bravery and didn't bow their head before the Nawab. She also explained that how Shri Guru Gobind Singh Jisacrificed his whole family for the sikh religion. Then poem was recited by Hargunpreet Kaur of Class VI-A. Then poem was recited by IV Class boys. Then Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma addressed the students and asked soime questions from the students regarding sahibzaadas. Sir also encouraged the students to take the inspiration from the Sahibzaadas and gave a tribute to Sahibzaadas.  

CELEBRATION OF PARKASH DIWAS OF SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI
04-01-2017

In 4th January 2017 birthday of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy with great enthusiam. In the morning Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path was conducted by the students. After Ardaas, Nagar Kirtan was started from G.H.G. Academy. First there was a Nagara and then students were playing Gatka. Panj Piyaras and Nishandehi were also made. They were infornt of Palki Sahib Ji. After Palki Sahib students were sitting in Troli and singing the Shabads, Path and religions Poems. After them, there were students sitting in the vans , Many students were walking along with the nagar kirtan. Nagar Kirtan was started from Kothe Baggu village then went to jagraon city via G.T. Road, some students gave a picking up the banners of Gurbani. It covered the whole city and then moved back to G.H.G. Academ. When it reached our Principal Sir. Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma, Manager Mr. Darshan Singh and Co-orindator Mrs. Indu Bala washed the feet of Panj Piyaras and tea was served th them. In this way, G.H.Gians celebrated the birthday of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji with great anthusiam 

LOHRI CELEBRATION
13-01-2017

On 13th January 2017 Lohri celebrated on this occassion, Harmanpeet Kaur of XI (Non-Medical) class delivered a speech and enlighted the students about the history behind the Lohri Festival. Then our Princpal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma, Manager Sir, Co-ordinator Mrs. Indu Bala, Teachers and Students worshipped 'Dhooni'. They all sung a Lohri song:- "Eassa Aaa Deleedar Jah, Delldar di Jar Chulleh Paa". Then teachers and students presented a song:- "Sunder Munderieh ho, Tera Kon Vichara ho". Then Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma addressed the students and told about the Punjabi Festival and encouraged them to value their cultural heritage. At last, Peanuts and Sweets were distributed to all. All enjoyed the Lohri ceremony.

 

MAKKAR SANKRANTI CELEBRATION
13-01-2017

On 13th January 2017 Makkar Sankranti was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. On this occassion, Prabhjotpreet Kaur of X-B class delivered a speech and enlightebed the student about this festival. She told that Makkar Sankranti marks the transition of the sun into Zodiacal sign of Makara (Capricarn) on its celestial path. The day is also believed to mark the arrival od spring in India and also told the religious importance of this festival for the sikhs. After this Kaweeshri was peformed by VIII-A class girls. Our Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma also told about the importance of this festival.  

CELEBRATION OF REPUBLIC DAY
26-01-2017

Republic Day was celebrated in G.H.G. Academyon 26th January 2017. The programme was started with the National Flag was hoasted by the Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma along with Mr. Darshan Singh, Mr. Harwinder Singh, Mrs. Indu Bala and Mr. Sukhmander Singh. The chief Guest of the function was Mr. Baljit Singh Malhi. After the National Anthem was song by all the G.H.Gians with full enthusiasm. The students and the teachers spoke loudly "BHARAT MATA KI JAI" and "VANDHE MATRAM" with the feelings of Patiatism. Afte that speech was delivered by Harmanpreet Kaur of class 10+1 (Non-Medical). She explained the meaning and importance of Republic Day. At the end respected Principal Sir gave the speech by telling the importance of Republic Day.   

FAREWELL
26-01-2017

A memorable farewell was given to the students of +2 with stream Medical, Non-Medical and Commerce under the guidance of the higher authorities. The students of +1 class and coordinator of the school took the responsibility of all the arrangement of the farewell. First of all the students of +1 class gave a warm welcome to +2 students by enlighting the lamp and head boy and head girl cut the ribbon. After welcoming them the +1 students served the sweets to them. After this the students of +2 took their seats, on the stage Manpreet Kaur (+1) and group performed a choreography on punjabi sont to welcome them. After that light snacks, soft drinks and coffee was served to all. The students of +2 class were honoured by the +1 class students by giving the monuments as token of lone and momary. Side by side some interesting games like balloon game etc was there. At last Musical chair competition was held resparately for boys and girls. In boys game, the winner was Master Ishwar Singh and in girls side winner was Miss Karmjit Kaur. Then they were honoured by giving the crown and sachet of Master and Miss Farewell. After that Mr. and Miss Farewell cut the students, teachers co-ordinator Mam and Principal Sir danced on the stage and enjoyed a lot. At last Principal Sir gave a speech and gave best wishes to the students of +2 class.    

CELEBRATION OF RAVIDAS JAYANTI

Ravidas Jayanti is celebrated in G.H.G. Academy under the guidance of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. On this occassion Anureet Kaur Sangha delievered a speech. Through her speech she explained the whole life of Shri Ravidas Ji and also told that this year marks the 640th birth ceremony of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. Our Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma also addressed the students and gave percious knowledge about Guru Ravidas Ji.   

CELEBRATION OF MAHA SHIVRATRI

Maha Shivratri was celebrated in G.H.G. Academy on 23rd February 2017 under the guidance of principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management. On this occassion Gurkirat Singh of IX-B delivered a speech. Through his speech he explained the whole life of Lord Shiva. He also told about the contribution of Lord Shiva to Hindu relogion and Maha Shivratri is celebrated all over India. Our Principal Sir also addressed the students and told about the teachings of Lord Shiva. At last, Sir congrates to all on this occassion.  

KAVISHRI & POEM RECITATON
13 APRIL 2018

Baisakhiwas celebrated in the G.H.G academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Management .The school  programme begin with a soul stirring Shabad (poem) recited by the little kids. This was followed up by a speech on Baisakhi (Khalsa Sajna Diwas) which was delivered by Samiksha marwaha of VIII (a)

       Then programme (competition ) was started in the presence of Respected Gurmail Singh Malhi, Respected Principal Sir, Harbhajan Sir and the Judges. All the students and teachers were present their for encouragement of participants. Entire school was dividedinto three group for competition . 1st group :- 1st to 4th class poem Recitation competition (Religious) , 2nd group :- 5th to 7th (Kavishri competition ) and 3rd group from 8th to +2 class (Kavishri competition ) students . In all three groups 4 teams are their from 4 houses. One group was from Junior wing and two group from senior wing . In each team 4 students are their . Atmosphere was filled with pious with Religion. Poem and Kavishri  Jidges for  Kavishri and poetry were Gurbaksh Singh (Moga Academy Teacher) Nishan Singh and Balwinder Singh. From  Junior wing Fateh  house stood first  ,Jujhar house stood  second and Ajit house stood third from Senior wing  Zorawar house stood first .Ajit house second and Fateh house stood third . From third group Jujhar house First , Fateh house second and Ajit house stood third at last winners are Awarded with certificates . Respected Chairman Sir and Principal Sir awarded certificates and congratulate them. At last Sir wishes Happy Baisakhi to all present their.

DASTAR BANDHI COMPETITION
21/04/2018

On 21st  April 2018 G.H.G. Academy organised DASTAR BANDHI Competition. The competition was held group wise. The whole classes were divided into seven groups. All the students were participating with lot of excitement. The judges of the competition were Sardar Harjinder Singh and Sardar Harpreet Singh (President of Sardariyan trust Ludhiana). The winners are as follow:- Class 1st to 2nd - Rajdeep Singh, Charanpreet Singh,Harjot Singh stood 3rd ,2nd and 1st respectively.

Class 3rd - Yuvraj Singh, Navjas Singh and Ashmeet Singh stood 3rd, 2nd and 1st respectively. 

Class 4th - Gursevak Singh, Khuskaran Singh and Gurpreet Singh 3rd, 2nd and1st respectively.

Class 5th and 6th - Sukharshdeep Singh, Arshveer Singh and Gurinder Singh stood 3rd, 2nd and 1st respectively.

Class 7th to +2 - Arshdeep Singh, Dilraj singh and Yuvraj singh stood 3rd,2nd,1st respectively.

Dumala (Girls) :- Sukhmanpreet kaur, Gagreet kaur, Amanpreet Kaur All the winner are awarded with certificates. At last the guest were thanbed for their presence and honoured was given. They told the student about importance of Dastar . At last all were happy and enjoyed function.

BUDDHA PURNIMA

Buddha Purnima was celebrated in G.h.G. Academy. It was celebrated during the Assembly, Commenced with a prayer, Followed by the speech on the Life of Lord Buddha, by the student of VIII A.

               Then Respected Principal Deep Kumar Sharma addressed the students and enlightened the students about Mahatma Buddha. He told the students that we need a Guru or Teacher  to lead our life. Guru Purnima is one such day when the Guru or a teacher is worshipped  for the work they have done. At the last Sir honour all the teachers and encourge students to respect their teachers or Guru. 

MOTHER'S DAY
14-05-2018

Someone rightly said that sacrifices, Love, guidance and blessings, all of those coming for every mother for her child are immeasurable, so as a tribute the students of G.H.G. Academy Jagraon, showered their Love and gratitude to their mother's by celebration mother's day on 14th May 2018 . The day started with a special morning assembly where the students of Xth grade was enthused to express her feelings through her speech on Mother's day. The students of +2 Non-Medical also expresed their gratitude and Love by Performing choreography on the theme "Mother" . The choreography was prepared by Respected Meenakshi Sharma. All the students participated in competition very enthusiastically. At the end Respected Principal Sir shared his views regarding the importance of mother's in our life and inspired the students to respect their mother. 

CELEBRATION OF MANGO DAY
30-JULY-2018

Mango day was celebrated in the G.H.G Academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma, Co-Ordinator Mrs. Indu Bala and Managment. It was then time to welcome our kids with a bright, rejuvenating and beautiful celebration hence Mango Day was celebrated on 30 july 2018. Dressed in yellow, our kids bloomed like sun flowers. The celebration was a measure to introduce the colour concept of the colour yellow and introduction to the king of fruits 'Mango' various activities were included to make the day more interesting like rhyme session related to juicy Mango.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY
11-AUG-2018

The official ceremony of conferring investing power, to the members of the school concil was organised at G.H.G Academy on 11-Aug-2018.

                                             The ceremony began with the permission of the Respected Manager Mr. Darshan Singh followed by Mrs. kamal virk and Mrs. Navdeep Kaur. Who welcome the Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma, Co-ordinator Mam Mrs. Indu Bala and our Managment.

                                              Two councils were selected one for Juniour Wing and one for Seniour Wing. Our Manager Dharshan Singh,Principal Sir and Co-Ordinator Mam pinned the badges to the selected council members and they were conf upon with sashes and the flags were handed over a symbolic representation of handing over the responsibility to the new office bearers.

                                                 The Head boy"Yuvraj Singh Pannu" and The Head girl "Navneet Kaur Sidhu" along with team of office bearers took the oath to upload the  ethos  and promise that they would carry out their duties with faith, excellence on this occasion Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma congratulated the newly selected concil members. At the end of the function the Head girl Navneet Kaur Sidhu Delivered a speech. It awas memorable day for all of us. At day ended with great joy and with lots of responsibilities.

CELEBRATION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY
14-AUG-2018

Independence Day is celebrated in India on 15th August because India become free from British rules on this day.

            In G.H.G Academy, Jagraon, Independence Day celebrated on 14th August 2018. First of all Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma, Manager Sir ans Co-Ordinator Mrs. Indu Bala hoisted the flag after that National Anthem was presented. Prefectorial Body of the school and four houses did march past with the proper guidance of teachers. Pledge was taken by all the students. then the function was started with the lovely performance by tiny-tots of G.H.G. Competition was held among four houses of songs, Dance and choreo graphy on Drugs. All the students performed will speach on Independence Day was given by Head-Boy of the school. At the respected Principal Sir wished to all the ghgians.Sweets were distributed to all the students. Small kids were looking so beautiful with tiranga caps at the departure time. It was the great day for all. 

POEM RECITATION COMPETITION
7-AUG-2018

Poem recitation competition was held on 7th Aug, 2018 in G.H.G Academy, Jagraon, under the guidancew of Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and co-ordinator mam Mrs. Indu Bala. It was house-wise competition in which students participated from Nur to U.K.G class. All the students recited poems with lovely voices and full confidence. Props were used by all the classes. This competition created interest and unity among the students as well as teachers. All the teachers did hard work to prepare the students. Students showed the importance of family, Rain, ABC, Traffuc lights by reciting poems. Other students enjoyed this functions. Some little kids present guest items. All were cheerfull. At the end of the function activity incharges thanked the teachers to co-operate and maintained discipline. 

RAKHI MAKING COMPETITION
24-AUGUST-2018

Rakhi is celebrated in all over the world. It is a festival which shows the affection between brother and sister. It was celebrated in G.H.G Academy Jagraon on 24 Aug, 2018 under the guidance of Principal sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma and Co-ordinator Mam Mrs. Indu Bala. On this festival to enhance the interest of the students in creativity, Rakhi making competition was held in school. Most of the students made rakhi with ( Waste material) daily uses things. Some girls celebrated this festivals by binding Rakhi to boys and pray was done for the health and wealth of the brother. They assemble many colours in their rakhis. Several students did wonderful work and got positions in the class. All the students felt belongingness to one another.

TEACHER'S DAY
5-Sept-2018

Teacher's Day was celebrated in G.H.G Academy on 5th september 2018 under the guidance of Respected Manager Sir and Principal Sir. The whole function was organised by the students. First of all the special assambly was done by teachers. Then after the assembly all the students gathered in the hall. Then the students of +2 class  welcomed The Principal Sir and all the Teachers with warm affection and respect. The main attraction of the function was the enterance of the teachers in the hall. After the Tikka ceremony teachers took their seats. students delivered a welcome speech with importance of teachers in their life. The compliments on teachers were played one by one and each teacher was awarded with beautiful card and gift as a taken of love. In between different games were played by teachers as a source of entertainment and then Boys performed bhangra on remix song and after that Girls performed very graceful bhangra. At last Respected Principal Sir addressed the students and teachers . He explained the importance of teachers in our life and the reason behind this celebration. The day was really a very good and fantastic. Everyone present in that hall enjoyed alot.

PARKASH PURAB SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI
10-SEPT-2018

First Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was celebrated in G.H.G Academy on 10/09/2018. The speech was delivered by "Jasman Kaur" of +1 grade. She told the students about the foundation of  Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji and about its importance in Sikh history.

               Then the program was followed by Bhog ceremony of Sehaj Path by "Harbajan Singh Sir" and then Kavishri "Janam Suhela Kardindi Gurbani" was performed by students of 7th grade then followed by poem "Guru Ghar Da Premi" by students of 3rd and 5th grade and then Shabd Gyan was done. At the end after ardas Hukamnama was taken and the prashad was distributed to all.The day was continue with regular routine. After that the students move to their respected classes. 

GANDHI JAYANTI
01-OCT-2018

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in the G.H.G Academy under the guidance our Management. On this occassion "Aishmeen kaur" of 10th grade delivered the speech on the life of mahatma Gandhi Ji. She sheds the light on every aspect of his life and the struggle he did in his life. During the assembly our Respected Principal Sir Deep Kumar Sharma and Manager Sir gone tribute to Mahatma Gandhi Ji by presenting the flowers infront of his potrait. At the end Principal Sir addressed the students and guide them to follow the path of Gandhi ji. He also explain the concept of three monkeys of Gandhi Ji and aware the students that Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated as the birthday of Bapu Ji.

VALMIKI JAYANTI

Valmik Jayanti was celebrated in the G.H.G campus on this occassion "Princedeep" of 10th grade delivered the speech on the life Maharishi Valmik. He told that he became a great poet and he was an inspiration for us. He had accomplished the create epic Ramayan Maharishi valmik devoted his whole life in the service of people so we should adopt his teachings. In north India this day is known as Pargat Diwas. At the end our Respected Principal Sir Deep Kumar Sharma addressed the students and guided them to follow the path of Valmik Ji and congratulates to all on this great day.

Keeping festive spirit alive Diwali and Gurpurab was celebrated in G.H.G Academy on 26 Octuber. Inter Class and Inter house competition of bulletin board decoration was held. Topic for the bulletin board was Diwali & Gurpurab (Birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji) for the classes the topic english . 4 judges were alloted to prepare with certificats on the same day Candle and Diya decoration was held were students participated with great interest.

THE BEGINNING OF SESSION CEREMONY (2019-20)
18-MARCH-2019

The Academic session 2019-20 was inaugurated by offering prayers to the Almighty on 18-march-2019. On this occasion there was a Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path. The day was started with the blessings of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the Darbar Sahib under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr.Deep Kumar Sharma. First of all Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path was conducted in Darbar Sahib. All the students gathered in the Darbar Sahib. After the Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path Kirtan was sung by the students of 8th class. Kirtan was started with the Shabad “Nithavia Tu Thaan” of 7th  class students. Then students of 10th class recited the Shabad “Waheguru Tera Sab Sadka”. After the kirtan, Ardass was done by Respected Harbhajan Singh Sir to get the blessings of Guru Ji. After this, Respected Manager Sir Mr. Darshan Singh gave his blessings to all the students. Sir advised the students to follow discipline in life and gave warm wishes for this session. After that our Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma also addressed the students and staff and gave best wishes to all. Sir also welcomed the new students. After this, “Deg” was served to all. Candies were also distributed to the Nursery class students also. In the way with the blessings of God the new session was started in the G.H.G Academy.

CELEBRATION OF HOLI
20-MARCH-2019

Holi was celebrated in G.H.G Academy on 20- March-2019 under the guidance of Respected Principal  Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. All the students were gathered in the Assembly ground. Speech was delivered by Gurmanjot Kaur student of class 12th Commerce. In her speech, She told about the festival. She told the value of colours in our life and how we can make our life colourful. She also told that on this occassion. We should forget all the enemies and should come together to make the festival "more colourful and full of happiness. On this occassion, Principal Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma also addressed to staff and students and gave congratulations on this occassion and Sir also told about the importance of the colours in our life and how can we live happy life without any stress. At last  Sir wished to all a very Happy Holi.

Martyr Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Martyr Day of Shaheed Bhagat singh was celebrated with great anthusiasm under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir on this occassion a speech was delivered by Ekam Grewal and Parneet Kaur of std IX-A. In their speech, they told about the memorable days and life history of great freedom fighter shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji. They also told about the sacrifices of him in very young age. After speech, they both recited the poem to give tribute to great freedom fighter. 

The poem was:- "Hind vasieo rakhna yaad sanu kite dilan ton na bhula jana"

After this, Respected Principal Sir addressed the students and told about the sacrifices of shaheed Bhagat Singh . At last, Sir gave tribute to great martyre Bhagat Singh Ji.

 

CELEBRATION OF RAM NAVMI
12 APRIL 2019

Ram Navmi was celebrated in G.H.G Academy on 12 April 2019. Under the guidance of Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. On this occassion, speech was delivered by Jaanvir Kaur of std IX-D. In her speech, She told about the life history of Shri Ram Ji. She also told about the sacrifice and teaching of Shri Ram. She also told about the struggles of Shri Ram Ji. She also told about Ajudhya and the 14 year of vanbaas . After this, Respected Principal Sir addressed the students and told to adopt the teaching of Shri Ram Ji. At last, he congrates to all on this occassin.

CELEBRATION OF DR. B. P. AMBEDKAR
13 APRIL 2019

In G.H.G Academy, Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated on 12 april 2019. Under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. A poem was recited by Balreet Kaur of std 8-C. She recited a poem in very manner. In her poem, She depicted the whole story and life history of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Which he done for weaker section and also explained the precious efforts done by him. She explained about the great work of Ambedkar Ji that was the writing of constitution and also told the importance of constitution. At last Principal Sir also addressed the students and gave precious knowledge about constitution and congrates to all the G.H.GIANS.

REMEMBERING 100 YEARS OF JALLIANWALA MASSACRE
13 APRIL 2019

In G.H.G Academy, 100 years of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre was remembered under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir. On this day i.e. 13 april 2019. One choregraphy was played by the students of VI to X class. In a choreography, students depicted the whole incident and made the audience cry. They performed the choreography in very good manner as it seemed the real. Every eye had tears to saw the whole incident.

                       In choreography, students depicted the scene of meeting, general Dyre, gathering in jallianwala bagh, shooting of Dyre, shaheed Udam Singh and shot the Dyre by Udam Singh. All this performed in a very good Manner. After this, Respected Principal Sir addressed the students and the importance and sacrifice of the shaheeds and guided the students to follow the Principal of Bravery, Courge and Truth. At last, all gave a tribute to the martyres of Jallianwala Bagh.

CELEBRATION OF KHALSA PANTH SAJNA DIWAS AND BAISAKHI
13 APRIL 2019

In G.H.G Academy, Khalsa Sajna Panth was celebrated with great anthusiasm under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir and Management. A speech regarding Khalsa Sajna Panth Divas by Barinder Singh of std-X-A. In his speech, he told about the birth of Khalsa Panth by Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji. He told that how Guru Gobind Singh ji made Panj Pyare and Amritpan was done. He also explained the feelings of Panj Pyare and their sacrifice and also explained the features of Khalsa panth. Then a kaveshri was sung by 9th class boys. The Kaveshri was

They presented the Kavishri with great anthusiasm and filled the environment with the feeling of proud of sikhism. Then the students of std-10th girls presented the Kavishri.

In very well manner and with great anthusiasm. After that, Baisakhi was also celebrated in G.H.G Academy. Little flowers(Junior Kids) came in colourful dresses. Their beautiful dress and smile filled the Academy's courtyard with happiness and anthusiasm. On this occassion a dance was performed by the students of std- IV and V. They done the performance with great energy on the song " HUN PIPA KHARKOO" Then Junior kids of std- I and std- II gave their beautiful performance in the form of dance on song " MAARDA DMAME JATT MELE AA GIA" After that Respected Principal Sir shared their precious views with students and told the importance of baisakhi and Khalsa Panth and gave congratulations to all.

CELEBRATION OF MAHAVIR JAYANTI

Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated in G.H.G Academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir. First of all Jashanpreet Kaur of class X-C delivered a speech on Mahavir Jayanti. In her speech, she told about the life history of Bhagwan Mahavir Ji. She also throw light on the teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir Ji and also explained their efforts done for Jain religion and features were also explained by her. At last Respected Principal Sir also addressed the students and told about the teachings of Mahavir Ji and at last, Sir wished happy Mahavir Jayanti to all.

Celebration of Parkash purab of shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji

In G.H.G Academy Parkash purab of shri Guru teg Bahadur Ji was celebrated under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir. On this occassion, Harwinder Kaur of std- VIII-B delivered a speech. In her speech she told all the life events of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. She also explained about Meditation , received guruship, attempts of Aurangzeb to cosolidate India into one Islamic nation, sacrifice and torture by Aurangzeb and their martyre for the Hindu and sikh religion. She also told about the Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji's bani gives the message ofnon-attachment. At last Respected, Principal Sir also addressed  the students and guidedthe students to follow the teachings of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur ji and also told about the sacrifice of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.

CELEBRATION OF LABOUR'S DAY
1 MAY 2019

Labour Day was celebrated in G.H.G Academy under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr. Deep Kumar Sharma. It was celebrated on 1st May 2019. On that day a speech was delivered by Jasmeen kaur of std-10th. In her speech, she thrown a light on the importance of labour day. After that choreography and play were performed by the students of four houses of Junior and Senior. Then the Zorawar house bagged the first position. At last, Respected Principal Sir Manager Sir gave beautiful gifts to all the helping hands of G.H.G Academy and also given Tea party to them. Then Respected Principal Sir addressed to all and motivate the students to respect the helping hands of G.H.g and also told about the importance of their in our life.

                                        In this way, Labour Day is celebrated in G.H.G Academy with great anthusiam.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY
8 April 2019

The official ceremony of conferring investing power, to the members of the school concil was organised at G.H.G Academy on 8 April 2019.

                                           The eagerly awaited "Investiture Ceremony" for the academic session 2019-20 was held on 8 April 2019. First of  prefectorial body Heads Mrs. Jaspal kaur and Mrs. Minakshi Sharma welcomed our chief guest. The chief guests were Mr. Baljit Singh Malhi and Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Malhi. Mrs. Minakshi Sharma gave a welcome speech. Then she invited our chief guests, Respected Principal Sir, Manager Sir to come on the stage and handed over the badges and sashes to the newly elected members of school consil. The ceremony was started with Ardass. Then the House consil was started. 

     Then Head Boy - Yuvraj Singh and Head Girl - Sahibjot Kaur they were given the whole responsibility of the counsil. 

      At last, all the house counsil member and school counsil's newly selected members took the oath with their flags of pride and promissed to serve the institution and perform their duties whole heartedly and sincerely. The newly selected members were brimming with confidence to shoulder the assigned duties.

      At last, Respected Principal Sir congratulated the council members and encouraged them to display their duties in the ambit of resoluteness and collaboratively to achieve success.

        It was indeed a defining moment for every member of the school cousil body. We believe that these young leaders will uphold the values of school and keep the honour of the foundation school's loftily hoisted.
